Roundup & Analysis

Rules:

WIFFLE BALL: The game will be played with 3 players on each team, a pitcher, a catcher, & a fielder.
An out can be made in three ways:

1. The batter can strike out only if he/she swings at a pitched ball and does not foul tip the third strike. Foul tips count as a strike for the first two strikes only. A foul tip caught in back of the batters box does not count as an out.
2. Fly balls caught in fair or foul territory
3. Ground balls caught while the ball is in motion, in fair territory. Bunting is not allowed and the batter cannot obtain a base on balls

Scoring is based on where the ball is hit; the field is marked single, double, and triple areas. Depending on where the ball lands is what the player hit. Base runners will be imaginary. Any balls hit past the triple marker and is not caught will constitute as a home run.

BASKETBALL: The basketball portion of the event will be played with two teams of 6 players. 5 players will play on the court with 1 substitute player. The game will be timed for a total of 50 minutes, two 20 minute halves and a 10 minute halftime. All rules of basketball apply, fouling, boundaries, etc.
