SPORTS SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM
Purpose: To develop sports skills and social interaction skills in small group instructional classes.
Who: Students with Autism, ages 6 to 21.
Mr. Steve's Sports, in conjunction with Eden Autism Services, has created an exciting sports skills training program for children with Autism.
Students will be screened to determine their eligibility, and will be placed into age- and skill level appropriate groups. Groups will range in size from 4 to 6 students. Groups will meet weekly for one hour, for four (4) weeks. The students will learn the basic skills to play specific sports.
Groups will be led by an experienced Sports Trainer and supported by an Eden staff member, as well as other trained sports staff. There will be 1 trainer per every 2 athletes.
